Welcome to Spiritdrummers.com.
As the years have progressed I do periodically come in contact with other players of spiritdrums snares, kits and djembes. I am fortunate to play all three.
I felt it would be a great idea for those of us who have shelled out the price of a small car for a drumset to have somewhere to give each other a pat on the back and say well done! - This is it!
I have no idea where the site will lead, I do want to have a forum where we can discuss all to do with our drums, lots of reviews, spirit spotting and whatnot.
On a more serious note, these are very unique drums made in a unique way from a unique material, who knows just how they will stand the test of time. My Spirit set is now 7 years old and, as it is serial #3, it is one of the oldest out there. It is the sister set of the one that was reviewed in Modern Drummer in 2000. I played that kit also.
